Workspace Solutions for Growing Companies

The furniture question changes shape at every headcount. At ten people it is a purchase. At a hundred it is a standard, and the cost of choosing badly is no longer the price of the chairs.

This page sets out what actually changes at 10, 25, 50 and 100 people, with the arithmetic done, so you can take a number into a budget conversation rather than a range.

The unit is the workstation, not the desk

Before any of the scenarios below make sense, fix the unit you are multiplying. One workstation, as we define it, is three things:

  • A surface that changes height, powered, with saved presets, so the position someone chose at nine is not still binding at four.
  • A seat with adjustable lumbar support and armrests that fold, so the chair tucks fully under a 24 inch top and the desk keeps its full travel.
  • Power at the desk rather than under it, so a moving surface does not turn the cable run into a recurring problem.

Bought separately that is $507. As the Working Desk set it is $456.30, one order line, shipped together. Everything else, lighting, storage, dividers, air, is shared across the room rather than allocated per person.

Headcount Workstations Separately As sets
10 10 × $456.30 $5,070.00 $4,563.00
25 25 × $456.30 $12,675.00 $11,407.50
50 50 × $456.30 $25,350.00 $22,815.00
100 100 × $456.30 $50,700.00 $45,630.00

Workstations only. Delivery is calculated at checkout on your address and is not included above. Shared items are costed per room, not per person, so they do not scale with headcount in a straight line.

What changes at each scale

10 people

Still a purchase

One desk model, one chair model, one order. Nobody needs a configurator at this size and per-person choice will cost you more in coordination than it returns in satisfaction.

Add lighting for the room: a flush-mount ceiling fixture at $59 does more for the afternoon than another accessory per desk.

25 people

It becomes a standard

The point at which what you buy now determines what you must buy for the next two years, because mismatched furniture in one room is visible in a way it is not across two.

Write the spec down: model, finish, dimensions. This is the moment to also decide the shared layer, dividers for the calls and storage so the desks stay clear.

50 people

Phasing beats a single order

At this size, delivery, stock and the floor plan all become constraints. Two or three phases against the fit-out schedule is easier to absorb than a single date everything depends on.

It is also where a second configuration starts to earn its place: a small number of 55 inch desks for the roles that genuinely run three monitors.

100 people

Replacement cost dominates

The price of the chairs stops being the number that matters. What matters is the replacement cycle, whether the same model is still available in eighteen months, and what it costs to swap one broken part rather than one whole desk.

That case is made in full in the true cost of cheap office furniture.

Below fifty people, the expensive mistake is variety. Above it, the expensive mistake is choosing a model you cannot still buy in two years.

Both are avoided by the same decision: standardise early, on fewer models, built to be kept.

The shared layer

These are costed per room rather than per head, which is why they are usually underestimated and then cut.

What Why it is shared From
Overhead and task lighting Lit per room, not per desk. Selectable colour temperature so one fixture serves focus hours and the end of the day. $59
Folding room dividers Defines a call area in an open room and folds flat when you want the floor back. 5.9 ft, carbon steel frame. $99
Air purification Rated per area, not per person: 280 m³/h CADR covers up to 200 sq ft, at 23 dB on its quietest setting. $99
Storage What stops a floor looking improvised. A rotating tower carries 440 lb across four tiers on a 16.5 inch square footprint. $119

Before you commit to a date

Two honest constraints, stated now rather than after a purchase order.

Stock is finite. The 55 inch motorized desk is held in small quantities and the figure shown at checkout is live. For any volume beyond a handful of units, confirm availability with us before you promise a fit-out date to anyone.

We do not offer purchase orders or payment terms. Orders are paid in full at checkout. If your finance process cannot work that way, tell us early. The rest of what we can and cannot supply is set out on the procurement page.

Plan it with us

Send us the headcount, the room, and the date it has to be working by. You will get a real answer, including whether we can hit your date, before anything is ordered.
